Point Program

Hotel Stay Point System
Renaissance Inc. ("Renaissance") administers ' The Hotel ' Membership Service. When a member of The Hotel ("Member") makes a reservation for rooms through the Hotel Web-Reservation System ("Web-Reservation System") , administered and run by Renaissance, and fulfill their reservations, Renaissance awards points to the Member. This Hotel Stay Point System program ("The Hotel Point System") allows a Member to use points the Member has earned to stay at a discount rate.
The Hotel Point System Membership
Members are eligible participants of The Hotel Point System.
Awarding Points
1.
Renaissance awards points worth 5% of the amount for eligible services, specified below, to Members when Renaissance confirms that Members had stayed in rooms booked through the Web-Reservation System. Awarded points worth one yen per one point in The Hotel Point System.
2.
When reservation is made by two or more Members as one group, points will be earned by one Member who has made the reservation through the Web-Reservation System.
Definition of Amounts for Eligible Services
Amounts for eligible services mean charges such as room fee that is being set out when Members make reservations through the Web-Reservation System. Charges specified in the following sections 1 are not considered amounts for eligible services. When Members stay at a discount rate by redeeming points, the amount paid by the redeemed points does not earn points.

Extra charges for without limitation, accommodation, options and meals not booked or requested through the Web-Reservation System.
Redeeming Points
1.
When redeeming points, 100 points are calculated as one unit and fractions are omitted. Members may not redeem points when the total number of the MemberĀfs points is less than 100 points.
2.
Members who wish to utilize a discount stay service may use up to a maximum of 30% points in one redemption to pay for charges, as specified in the following clause. Members may decide how many points of up to 30%points to redeem.
Definition of Redeemable Amounts
Amounts for which Members may redeem points mean charges such as room fee that are being set out when Members make reservations through the Web-Reservation System. Charges specified in the following sections 1 and 2 are not considered amounts for which Members may redeem points.

Extra charges for without limitation, options and meals not booked or requested through the Web-Reservation System.
2.
Taxes and service charges etc. not listed on the Web-Reservation System.
Redeeming Points and Points Loss
1.
Points redeemed by a Member will be deducted from the total number of points the Member has earned ("Points Earned").
2.
Points Earned will expire when not redeemed within one year after the last day of the month for which the Member has last earned the points. Points Earned will be redeemed or expire on a first-earned-first-goes basis.
3.
When a Member has committed a breach of these Terms and Conditions or the Terms and Conditions on services in relation to The Hotel, and Renaissance decides to terminate the Member's membership of The Hotel, or when a Member applies for termination of the The Hotel membership, the Member will lose the Member's The Hotel membership and the Points Earned will be cancelled all together.
Transfer
1.
Members may not transfer Points Earned to third parties or third parties may not succeed Points earned by Members other than themselves.
2.
Points Earned are not redeemable for cash or other form of credit.
Privacy Policy
1.
Members shall agree that Renaissance treats Members' personal information in accordance with The Hotel Privacy Policy as specified separately.

Change to Terms and Conditions
1.
When change in contents and conditions ("Change") is made to these Terms and Conditions or The Hotel Point System, Renaissance advises Members of such Change on the Web-Reservation System website at latest two weeks prior to the Change taking place. After listing the Change for two weeks, Renaissance will assume all Members have agreed to the Change. However, when third parties are feared to suffer unexpectedly large loss or damage as a result of Renaissance making such Change, Renaissance may make a decision to reverse, modify or amend the Change. In that event, Renaissance reserves the right to make Change to these Terms and Conditions without constraint of the above specified period and shall assume all the users have accepted the Change upon the Change is listed on the The Hotel website.
2.
Renaissance shall assume that Members have accepted Change to these Terms and Conditions and/or The Hotel Point System when the Members have used the Web-Reservation System after the Change is listed on the Web-Reservation System.
3.
When Members do not accept Change, Renaissance shall assume that the Members have terminated the Member's membership to The Hotel Point System. The Member's Points Earned will therefore be canceled all together.
The Hotel Point System Change, Suspension and Termination
1.
Members shall agree that Renaissance reserves the right to make Change to the contents of or temporally suspend The Hotel Point System without prior notice to Members.
2.
Renaissance reserves the right to permanently suspend or terminate The Hotel Point System when Renaissance advises Members at least one month in advance. Points will no longer be awarded from the day of termination. However Members may redeem Points Earned after The Hotel Point System has ended during the period of three months after the termination is notified.
3.
Renaissance is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered by Members as a result of change to, or suspension or termination of The Hotel Point System.
Renaissance's Responsibility
1.
Renaissance is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including, without limitation, mental distress and financial loss or damage) suffered by Members arising from the use or inaccessibility of The Hotel Point System unless Renaissance has caused the loss or damage knowingly or negligently. Even when Renaissance will take the responsibility for loss or damage, the liability shall be limited to direct and ordinary loss or damage unless Renaissance has caused the loss or damage knowingly or through gross negligence.
2.
Renaissance is not liable for any conflict whatsoever arising between Members and third parties such as the hotel staff, even when the Members' stay is arranged through The Hotel Point System.
3.
Renaissance may issue the receipt for your payment, however Renaissance may not issue the receipt for your redeeming points.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The Hotel Point System and these Terms and Conditions are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. In any action, or other legal process with respect to any matter or thing in connection with The Hotel Point System or these Terms and Conditions, the Tokyo District Court will be the first agreed jurisdiction court and the Membershallsubmit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
